hey just wanted to say thanks for making a seemingly awesome mod for the game but i have a problem.

i'm using bitzipper to try and extract the files from the patch.rar file and put them in the ea sports rugby 08 folder in program files as suggested, but it says that i don't have permission. i don't understand as I am the admin on my computer and this makes no sense to me! please help any way you can fellas!

Hey man,

Good stuff love the updates on the rosters makes the game so much better! Pretty good detail in the fact that you made them look like who they are. Playing Tri Nations atm as All Blacks with the current squad as of the last game. Played SA on Elite 10min halves. Score was 17-10 - pretty close and much better difficulty. Also a few bugs here and there unsure if you know about; when the players run out the field they all look fine but when you start playing the match some players - pointing out Richie Mccaw, SBW and some other players unsure of atm but the players faces/hair are either a different colour like something outstanding (red, orange) or they have no hair and have like a scrum cap on which is red and says stuff. If you don't understand me Ill post a pic next time i play also might be normal but Nonu gets pronounced as Umaga because of the star Nonu get? example during normal play he gets pronounced "Nonu" but when he makes a break and scores a try Umaga?? i think its normal cause you sed something earlier on. But yeah man awesome patch aye! With this roster i cannot wait for Rugby 2012!!!!! gonna be sweet! keep it up man

Saying Umaga scored a try is hardcoded into the game, we can't do anything about that.

Intercept King JDV, are you going to include Montpellier (2nd in Top 14 this season) and Bayonne (8th in Top 14) in your update? This would amount to 12 French teams in your superb project. I think that current under-presence of French teams (10) is unjustified, especially considering their achievements in European cups. Thanks in advance for your future update!

To correct the orange scrum cap you need go to my rugby/system settings/display options and in force lod change the game quality to high

posting all this, need new mod, wen will it be out willl be annoying the modders they are working as fast as they can and ive made millions of mods for other games and it takes time to get it perfect also this is putting pressure on the modders and they will be working as hard as they can so please just be patient

Hi guys!

I just want to 1st of all apologize for being MIA for the last couple of weeks but I had to go and work in a mountainous area which had very little cellphone signal and no internet coverage at all...yes not everybody is "connected"LOL

Good news is that I'm now back at home so I can get cracking at the Rugby 08 patch again, there isn't much left to be done and luckily I was also able to do a little bit of work on the patch whilst I was away on my laptop.

I basically just need to combine the work that I did on my laptop with the other patch files on my pc, test to see if everything is working correctly, assign a few faces correctly and tweak the roster here and there.

So please give me chance until at least Thursday/Friday to finish and upload the patch.

Once again I'm sorry for just disappearing like that without letting you guys know, but things can get a bit hectic with my working life.
