Transfers Rumours

So if Barkley plays 12, what happens to the supposed saviour [sic] of English rugby, Shontayne "oh what an English sounding name" Hape?

He's played outside centre for the last 3 games, so i assume that's where he'll stay. His performances have dipped recently though, so maybe OC is not for him (or it could be that he's fatigued, as he has played nearly every game this season)

I don't know how true it is but there are some suggestions that Isaac Boss is doing a Warwick/Tonga'huia and pulling out of his transfer from Ulster to Leinster. It's disappointing if true but if he doesn't want to play in Leinster, what's the point in holding him to a contract?

I thought that all that had died down? Would make sense, they're in the market for both a fullback and a scrum half. Could do with another 10 as well probably.

Bit mad from Pienaar, so close out from the world cup. He'd probably make the Springbok squad anyway, what with the dearth of quality standoffs in South Africa.

According to sources Bristol have 4 "provisional agreements" in place. The provision being should we win promotion. These players are described as "experienced top-flight players" and at least 1 is from one of the Welsh regions.

The rumour first emerged a couple of months ago. I also thought it had gone dead but it appears not to be the case. If it comes off, Ulster will essentially have swapped Isaac Boss for Ruan Pienaar and Ed O'Donoghue for Johann Muller. Xavier Rush will bring some much needed leadership to their pack too. If they sort out their fullback spot (I've read a rumour that they offered Leinster's Andrew Conway a deal which he rejected), Ulster could be a dangerous side next year. They could do with another flyhalf also but if they stick with Ian Humphreys, they're good enough to win 60% of their games, especially with that pack in front of him.

I wonder what this signing means for BJ Botha. He's openly expressed a desire to move back to South Africa. Have Ulster done a deal which sees Pienaar move to Belfast thus allowing Botha go back home early?

many people belived with the signing of boss Paul O'Donohoe would leve but why quins? they have care how bout sombody who don't have a resonable scrum half

Care will miss a lot of time due to England commitments. O'Donohoe could easily start 10+ games next season with Quins playing in Europe, the Premiership and the LV Cup. The chance to link up with Nick Evans would also be enticing. I definitely think he's good enough to start for a lot of Premiership clubs though - in fact I wouldn't have a problem if he had an extended run in Leinster's team.

This isn't the first rumour I've heard of quins signing a scrumhalf, so it could very well be on.
Any comments on how good either of those are? Our current second choices are decent, but not great, so it'll be interesting to see who gets that next season.

O'Donohoe is very talented and could easily be an Ireland international in future. He's got a good pass, is excellent at box kicking and isn't afraid to take things on himself through quick taps and attacking around the side of rucks. He's captained the Leinster A team a number of times and also has some experience of playing 10. He's supposedly short a yard of pace but it's never been a problem thus far when playing for Leinster.

Moore is a brilliant passer and also likes to break around the fringes. He's prone to brainfarts though. If things aren't going well, he tries to force things from all reports I've read. He's yet to feature for the full Leinster team (bar a couple of pre-season games). He could be a diamond in the rough. At this point O'Donohoe is a more complete player.

There was a rumour going around that London Irish are also interested in Moore.
