Transfers Rumours

Seems like the Tom Brady of Rugby (No not the former Sale player)

Noel the GOAT Reid is 100% moving to Tigers.
Brings over the experiance of 3 Champions cup trophies, 1 challenge cup trophy and 3 pro14 trophies.

Some may say a devastating blow for Leinster.
High key, you're getting the best player to ever play the game. Past, present and most likely future.

I'm gonna miss him.

Sean O'brien to London Irish.
450K 3 year deal, potentially.

Building a good squad, BUT SOB injury must be a concern considering they will want him all season.

Wouldn't be surprised if SOB goes. He definitely won't get a central contract next time around at 32 and injured more often than not. RWC and make some cash.

Can understand Seán O'Briens decision. He's aging has a big injury list, is under serious pressure for his jersey and will definitely not command such good money in a year or two. Good move by LI if they can keep him fit he could single handedly elevate an average side when on form.

so Ireland will really miss him!!!!!! :p

Apparently SOB to LI will be confirmed early next week. Rumour is moving surprisingly quickly.
I think it is set in stone and to be honest it is a smart move by everyone.

Leinster barely see him due to injuries. But equally have so much coming through. So he isn't as vital as once before.

IRFU - He was never going to get a central contract for 3 years. So IRFU saving money. But also people fail to see we are adapting the Southern Hemisphere approach toward World Cups a bit. So he was never likely to be around the next RWC factoring in injury record, age and competition there.

And for Sean O'Brien - The man has broken his body so much that he deserves to get a big pension of 2/3 years over there. Sample a different life and well just have a new adventure.

He'll struggle to find a parking spot for the Massey in Landan town guv.

Fair play to Sean O'Brien. He's a terrific player who has the talent to earn a huge contract. He's only played 2400 minutes for Leinster over the last 6 seasons though so although he'll be missed, the province are used to playing without him.

Gareth Milasinovich is set to sign for Ulster from Worcester.

He's a 26 year old ambipropsterous front row from South Africa who is Ireland qualified. I'm assuming he'll play primarily at loosehead.
Ulster need props badly. This would be a good move for them.

On Sean O'Brien if he goes I hope he gets a proper sendoff if he goes. It would make sense for all parties but I'd be very sad to see him go. From a Leinster perspective one of our best ever players.

For London Irish his injury record would definitely be a concern. But at the same time if they get him fit he could singlehandedly knock then up two or three places in the table.

Politely, watch your whore mouth please.
In fairness, it's a long shot, and it'll be blasphemy to some, but I actually think Sean O'Brien actually might have been slightly better than Noel Reid at certain points in his career.

Maybe, and I can't stress the word maybe enough, from 2008-2011.

Ultimately one is going to the most successful club side in England and the other is going to be coached by Declan Kidney in a club that hopes ringfencing the top tier will eventually keep them there... Speaks volumes!

I'll miss SOB massively as an Ireland fan, not so much as a Leinster fan because that has consisted of getting massively excited for his returns and sad when he breaks instantly. Not that I don't greatly appreciate what he's done for the club, we wouldn't have one back to back heinos without him and he's a bona fide club legend, it just feels like the time is right for him to move on.

At same time it will be a big physical presence lost of Fardy and Sean O'Brien at once
