Personally I hope he does go, I think England could do with some fresh ideas from assistant coaches him and Gustard have been found out recently, whereas Wisemantel has got our backs attacking very nicely.

Agreed. But what does it say that a year before a world cup that our forwards coach seemingly wants out, our defence coach got out and we can't even get a permanent attacking coach in?

Keeping thread on track, Borthwick just doesn't strike me as head coach material at all. Then again I couldn't understand how he racked up 57 caps and captained England either.

Anyone who is frustrated now, just needs to wind the clock back to that period and realise what our benchmark for unenjoyable/dogsh ite performances is.

Our front 5 needs powering and nastying up. Attwood should definitely be in that discussion.

More to the point though, I doubt that Bath were able to find a suitable replacement in time, not to mention that Mourad was taking the piss in what he was offering to buy DA out of his contract (I think he admitted he was only willing to pay 1/3 the asking price), so the contract stands
