Transfers rumours

Seen Jonny May's name mentioned on Tigers forum also seen someone post on the Glous forum he's talking to Bath! don't see either personally but from what my Glous mate's telling me a change would be as good as a rest for Jonny.

he's out of contract next season wouldn't be surprised if he looks to move unless Ackermann brings alot of change. (Which i'm still not sold on).

We have a history of developing players to the point of plateau, never seeing them quite fulfil their potential. Sharples and Sinbad are two others that spring to mind.

was this deal in motion before his exclusion from the all blacks team? didn't take that too well did he, shame because he's a decent player that's just lacking a bit more of a rugby brain, also the link says nothing has been agreed?
He's been after a big pay day in the NH for a while now, so Hansen knows he's not sticking around.

Yeah - a move for him had been on the cards for months. He was linked with Quins and Leicester and more IIRC.

ebner played 12 and 15 at the junior world championships based on pictures i found on google... but that was 10 years ago

his skill set is that he can run really fast and always make a tackle... he pretty much only lines up on special teams

wouldn't be surprised by this as he's getting older so he's more expendable to nfl teams since his contract isn't guaranteed and younger players have lower minimum contracts

rugby was his first sport and seemed to always be his favorite sport but football was a good way to support a family

How destructive is he? Could he be a ball carrier as well as a tackling machine?

personally i think he should be in the back 3 not back row... would be a great fullback if you had a wing you were comfortable with kicking

he could def. be a good ball carrier but in college he just ran past people

remember this is a guy who started playing football at 20 and ended up in the nfl two years later and is widely considered the best special teamer... this is a true world class athlete

So with Foden and North in a back 3 could be quite distructive (forgetting the need for a number 8 over a back)
