Wasps really splashing the cash, if this is true! Though with the increase in the salary cap next season then it makes sense.
Easy mistake to make, he just got the wrong midlands side.

Worcester have apparently put a huge pay packet together to sign Manu Tuilagi according to the rugby paper . They are quoting 1.6 million although I'm not sure how that's broken down

It's something like £750k for the first season, £450k for the next two. Makes no difference to the salary cap though, for cap purposes it's spread out across the contract (and he can't be marquee). Better for Tuilagi that the cash is in his pocket though. Bristol apparently offering £650k ish, and Wasps £500k. So all close over 3 seasons, go to Wuss for the cash, Wasps for the hopefully top level Europe games. Or stay at Tigers, potentially as Marquee, and have a chance to play in their more and more exciting backline.
