^^^ I was under the impression Nyakane and Ulengo were linked with WP/Stormers but no loss. Seems like the Bulls' mince machine is working overtime still.

Yeh he has gone to Northumberland uni.

He wasn't starting in the Academy games or "A" league games, so I guess he would get more game time @ Newcastle.

*Karim. He's not an Eastern European woman ! And hah, yet another originally Maghrebian French prop...very happy to see that. He's young enough that he's promising and has heaps to improve in, but not a teen either at 25yo. 1m83, 116kg. Has the experience having played for Bourgoin and Auch in both Top 14 and Pro D2.
I'll welcome tightheads any time, and Toulon seem to have a great effect on props. Taking a raw, tender, FAT Xavier Chiocci and making him into a worthy Heineken Cup playoff starter. I don't think Castrogiovanni was bringing Toulon much or anything really, he's still alright for Italy but at his age, playing so few minutes...so much better to bring in a younger French tighthead.

This could be yet another success story, with Menini making the French squad after coming to Toulon mid-season last year, Chiocci on the verge of selection, Bruni getting selected for the 6N (though not playing) and with Fresia another interesting LH from the RCT academy.
