With a maximum of three games left for any team there a few contenders left for top try scorer in the cup - they are:
Mitchell 7
Habana 6
Howlett 6
Clerc 5
Rococoko 5
Latham 5
Sivivatu 4
Sackey 4
R Lamont 4
There are a list of players on 3 or less tries but it would be very unlikely that they will be able to catch up on the current leader. So really only 9 players in contention, and if quarter finals go on form that would likely eliminate Clerc, Sackey and Lamont from the race as it would be their final games. So it really leaves Habana, the three New Zealand wingers, and Mitchell and Latham from Australia. Given the relatively easy quarter final South Africa has I'd agree with the majority of posters that state that Habana is the favourite, however I certainly wouldn't rule out any of the New Zealand wingers from being the top tryscorer at the end
