Suntory Sungoliath got an immediate return from some high-profile signings when they took the 2011-12 Top League season, beating reigning champions Panasonic Wild Knights 47-28 in the playoff final.

why block Hinato's website? what harm is it doing?

here is a picture of what the Top League trophy looks like

We have tried to contact Hinato several times in French and English, requesting that he asks permission or mutually links back to us. He failed to get back to us at all. I know from your point of view it may be nothing, but to The Rugby Forum, he was attempting to steal traffic/revenue from our site, something which is against the rules of the forum, so a concious decision was made to block his site until he got in touch with us.

As he has failed too after several warnings, he will be banned as well.

Thanks for the pics. Really sad we don't get any sort of coverage of the tournament in SA.

Out of interest, does anybody know how Fourie du Preez faired? Glad to see his team took the spoils but with speculation that he is still interested in playing for the Springboks and the fact that Meyer is coach... well, just interested in hearing if he seemed to have recovered some form as he wasn't in the best shape in the RWC after coming back from prolonged injury lay-off.

I don't know what that thing is in the middle picture, but I immediately want one.

Love it how the massive mascot...thing takes primary position while the trophy just gets passed to some random guy near the end of the screen. If Japan ever win the world cup, expect the captain to chuck the Webb Ellis trophy to the coach and raise some random mascot into the air :D

Alexandr Pervukhin (President Enisey-STM) about join 2 Russian clubs in Japan Top League

Alexandr Yurievich, good day! I know that you recently signed a partnership agreement with a Japanese club Panasonic Wildknights, a few years ago, Yenisei-STM played against other clubs from Japan, in general, what is the level of the Japanese Top 14? Is it possible option, given the dates (September-December) to take part in the Japanese league, like the Argentine Pampas as played in South Africa, only half of the matches (in September and October) played in Krasnoyarsk, and based in Japan only in November and December?

AP:
"First you need to make the first steps we have agreed at a meeting in Japan. This exchange of visits of clubs (Enisey & Panasonic), and our juniors participated in a youth tournament in Japan, where we showed up in Desember. The level of the Japanese Top League is now high, and I think that it is currently higher than ours, because has increased dramatically in recent influx of New Zealand players and coaches (only players currently in the Japanese league plays about 230!). And the players and coaches a high level, because Payment in Japanese clubs today is not inferior to the average first division teams in France and England.
As for ways to participate in the Japan Top League, firstly, you consent to the Japanese not only take us into the League, and in the country, but also think about their return visit to Krasnoyarsk. And that - and secondly - requires significant financial expenditures; as flight to Japan is, for example, more than from Krasnoyarsk to Ireland. And the hosted will be much more expensive than in Europe.
But once again, to start, you need to take the first steps, but we will look for options for what to do next. Under the rolling stone gathers no moss."
