If we're being picky, he also thinks Cohen, Mears & Vickery ever have a chance of playing for England again...

Thom Evans will be back he's seriously injured and at 1st they thought he wouldnt play again but it turns out he'll make a full recovery

We'll let HB studios decide

Recently, Johnson has brought back Simon Shaw and Joe Worsley, who's to say he won't ressort to bringing back more old dogs

You must've missed the press release a day or two ago saying he's had to retire

Ah mate, thats really disappointing, I read a couple of months back he was going to recover, that's a crying shame...

Australia:
1. Benn Robinson
2. Stephen Moore
3. Ben Alexander
4. James Horwill
5. Nathan Sharpe

7. David Pocock
8. Wycliff Palu
9. Will Genia

14. Adam Ashley-Cooper

Substitutions:
16. Adam Freier
17. Ben Daley
18. Mark Chisholm
19. Scott Higginbotham
20. Richard Brown

22. Berrick Barnes

Other players that could be included:
Saia Faingaa (hooker)
Al Baxter (prop)
James Slipper (Prop)
Dean Mumm (lock)
Phil Waugh (flanker)
Quade Cooper (flyhalf, centre)
Peter Hynes (wing, centre, fullback)
Lachie Turner (wing, fullback)
Kurtley Beale (fullback, flyhalf, centre)

Have you watched the 2010 Super 14 season at all? You don't even have Tatafu Polota-Nau in the frame, especially for Adam Freier? Polota-Nau would be the No.1 Hooker or would definately be close 2nd. Wycliff Palu is highly over rated and has had a horrible season backed by too many injuries. Richard Brown would most likely start at No. 8 but i'd much prefer Elsom there and Matt Hodgson (Who's had a sublime season) at 6. Quade Cooper not in the First IV? He is by far their greatest first five and most inform player, next to Genia. Matt Giteau is just so frustrating to watch and I don't think many Australian fans would care if he was completely dropped for a pairing of Cooper and Barnes. To even have Mortlock in the team is horrible, Anthony Fainga'a is a much greater player and in much better form. No Rob Horne either?

Sorry for the rant..

Yeah I would pick an in-form Adam Freier or Faingaa over Polota-Nau but its a close call. And Richard Brown is ****, Wycliff Palu is is more aggressive and powerful. With Quade Cooper you have the sublime, but then you have the really bad as well. Until he matures I won't pick him ahead of Gitts. Mortlock is a legend yes I know his injured but he is a powerful centre and paired with Ryan Cross they'll create gaps in attack and are also solid in defence. Barnes and Gitts struggle defensively at inside centre. I haven't taken form into account because you can never predict the situation in that area come the world cup, so I've based my choice on who are all-in-all Australia's elite.

did have a really long detailed list bt my laptop ran out of battery and i cba to right it all again so this will have to do

I agree that every nation's 1st XV should have their own unique faces, but the bigger rugby nations i.e. South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Wales, England, France, Argentina etc. could easily have 30 or more names that would probably require unique faces.

I think the line up for the New Zealand team at the world cup will be

1 - Tony Woodcock
2 - Andrew Hore/Kevin Mealamu
3 - Ben Franks
4 - Brad Thorn
5 - Tom Donnely
6 - Jerome Kaino
7 - Richie McCaw
8 - Kieran Read
9 - Piri Weepu/Jimmy Cowan
10 - Dan Carter
11 - Jo Rokococo/Zac Guilford
12 - Ma'a Nonu
13 - Conrad Smith
14 - Cory Jane/Sitiveni Sivivatu
15 - Mils Muliaina/Israel Dagg
