Top 14 Day 6

I've got to second gaston there !

Right I'm going for Gorgodze to win, Castres to finally win, Clermont, Grenoble, Stade Ferrero Rocher, Montpellier to draw (don't know why), Metro

ooh, nice Saffy !
And yes I actually find your draw prediction of Paris in MP quite plausible.
But for anybody still doubting La Rochelle's capability at home, make sure you log on Saturday night to read they've put 35 past Bordeaux.

I'm settled on home wins all round bar RCT but man am I going to cheer for Brive.

Where is Gorgodze ? I know he's had injuries so I guess he failed a late fitness test. Big loss for them carrying wise and now I might go for Brive to take it !

From what i could find out he is not quite match fit and therefore not included in the group who travel to Brive, they are saving him for next week as they have the best TOP 14 team coming to town to whip their ars** and desperately need Mamuka fighting fit, or is it fighting and fit!!!!!!!!

Gaston's predicktions for week 6 as follows no joker to be used this week!!!!!!

home wins for Montypellier, Castres, Clermont,Grenoble,La Rochelle, Racing Metro, away win for Toulon............

I see...I'm the only one picking Brive here am I. The one true combatant of the little guy's cause, the one yet with some semblance of principles, a genuine and undying loyalty for justice and nothing else, a compassion and belief that those less fortunate can still - nay, 'will' still rise and seize their destiny by the gonads with a firm and solemn grip, the one who will not bend his knee as to merely serve the bidding dictated by those selfishly in power that seduce all servile souls around them...
I see...I'm alone here, the only one left with a shred of decent moral fiber...-_-
I'd say I'm disappointed...but really I'm not. This is the kind of world we live in, and I can't deny the realities, sadly...

could be all that i'm sure!!!!!!!!! or a very serious case of brain dead!!!!!!! sorry!!!!!!!!!

...could be both. You separate things far too categorically, captain gastonistonigas. After all, I quote the great Harry Stotle: "Life is a whole, and a hole is a life", which he so expressively said during...that fateful day, back in..those olden days.

and now for something completely different!!!! no FTD? GREAT BENCH, Frangipan already worried!!!!

Real relegation battle between Brive and Toulon here!!!!! Toulon will win this no problembo........I would say that I have managed to watch the 1st 12 minutes of the match having chased back to the UK....well took three days!!

Action packed first half......Delon Armitage scores two tries (one disallowed) and makes another, red card for Marais, Toulon give away 10 points when they were cruising and suddenly maybe, possibly, Brive back in the game.................well in their minds anyway!

Toulon should win this at a canter............I fear for Brive but surely with this pack and Koymaibole they should survive when the weather turns?

What was Peet's red card for?

Sorry, can't help................ I missed it completely but Rugbyrama stating it was for an elbow!!

Two more tries...one for MoM to date Delon Armitage .....makes it 13-36 how right you were BE!!

Toulon crack 50 points and could not have asked for better training run to regain any confidence lost in previous games........13-53 and what could it have been it they could find a kicker!!!

What was Peet's red card for?

there was a general brawl during the play that lead to Toulon's first (second ?) try. Taofi was standing on his side of the ruck and tried to intervene in Brive's ruck with his foot on the ball, some Brivistes put him down and Marais stuck his forearm to Taofi's throat...I was completely against the decision.
Heartbreaking for Brive. They looked absolutely dismayed towards the end...for Toulon, another win on the road, a whole 5 points, and their back line on FIRE, good signs for them being so clinical red card or no red card. Their intrinsic form today was very reassuring, and intimidating for all of France.
I really thought we had a game when Brive came back just at the end of HT, after the 7 and then Germain's 53 meter penalty...but nope. Absolute nightmare. Injuries, sad faces, destroyed at home..."very embarrassing" said captain Mela.

On a more personal sentiment, James O'Connor will really be missed when he's gone. I'd underestimated just how good a back he was and what he brought to a team. And I'm still just as confused about whether I'm attracted to hi...her...well...'it', or not. That just won't go away, and is quite bothering tbh.

Blimey BE..........new photo and a new country......!!!

Blimey BE..........new photo and a new country......!!!

AND, more importantly, another greatly profound signature...country is for support towards the Pumas during this TRC.

And least, and also last:

Why the FUCQK would you play winger Huget at FB and FB Médard on the wing ??... hope this is a mistake.

.

and for the rest of Europe...are you going to support them now you're in back in le Var? Don't listen to all the BS about Boudjellal in the media. It's just cannon fodder for the embittered socialist wankkers.
