Top 14 Day 3

ALLER PARIS OUAAAAAIS !!!!!!!!!

sorry, just trolling Mr. Manx a little...

Plisson is turning into quite a player. Already showing big improvements from last year.

Edit: It's funny how the BT commentators don't get a word from what the referee says.

Connected the computer to the TV so cannot comment during the match but not a lot to say really.....

TMO...increasingly important role as refs afraid of being shown to be an idiot if they do not go upstairs as shown when he asks if there is any reason why cannot award a try? I have no problems with it as it is now part of the game....bit like American Football, time outs, huddles before line outs and TMO!

Allez Paris Yoe..........and why not!!

Paris should be well out of sight as Barritz have no scrum and no line out but they do have Erik Lund and a pretty good centre field defence.....if Paris actually reconginsed that Thomas certainly, as shown tonight, and Zee probably, have little in the way of defence, they should ship it out wide and go for it. Pieterson has made two forays..the first he missed an easy tackle and the second his mind was still in SA when Zee threw an easy pass! The only contibution Barcella has made is to give away penalties and look for a fight......

Lesgourges has shown why Yach is not playing and, only just thought when Julien took the kicks, that the reason Waenga had to give up his place was to allow Perylongue in for his kicking. I only hope that Lesgourges does not get like Cibray and Dupay before him - unsettled enough to seek employment elsewhere......I would even go as far as let Yach go rather than that!

Meanwhile the commentator is dreadful and May is so tongue tied and lacks so much knowledge of not just the language but the up date situation of the teams......plus he is not prepared to offend anyone and tell it how it is......never mind Austin is on Aviva duty!!

Game over after 10 minutes and can now only get worse.....let us hope Paris start to put it wide and we can see some good scores...........

Having put the wife down after a quick Waltz............thought the boys showed a lot of spirit and determination to support man of the match (for BO) the Viking! Colossus in the centre of the park.

Pieterson had some debut....welcome to rugby Biarritz style....although you might have made more of an effort as at least five missed tackles for a 15 is pretty p*** poor! Taele and Heguy are worrying particularly the former with his idioticy.....what was he thinking? Far too many penalties and Waenga was unlucky with his yellow just when he was showing a lot of good form and would like to see him with Lesgourges but we need a kicker........

Stade did what they had to.........but will have many a harder game than this and will have to play better than this to break into the top 6 teams but liked the look of Plisson and hope PSA does not promote him too soon for his career progression.

Danty looks decent... any chance of France caps in the future?

The scrum has improved from the first round slightly.

not a great game to watch...but SF have some good potential. They look focused and capable this year. They can make some noise I feel this year, some good pieces throughout.

Wow, the new Stade Francais / Jean Bouin Stadium looks great! I hope SF will find its way to the top again.

Excellent new ground for Stade looks like its been modelled on Montpellier's and of course Max did the business providing the Razz ma tazz, he has not lost his touch the only one who did not turn to the Gala Ball was Biarritz who looked lacking in all corners and looks as if they could have a very tough season in front of them, and with Oyonnax away and Toulon at home in the next 8 days things are not likely to get any better, Serge needs to spend somebodies money if not his own or things could be dire for BO.

For once we are in total accord!!! Have been like a lone voice in the wilderness for too long!!
