Hartley got 6months Flannery never got any ban like that. So well guess it whatever way you look at it I guess.Yep, they've all been naughty over the last 2 years.
However, Flannary and Azam are the only pair to have form and repeatedly behave like thugs over the past 2 years. As I said... THUG to appeal ban.
As for the IRFU... We all know what wankers they are when it comes to turning a blind eye when one of their own are misbehaving. They make the RFU (or even Sanzar) look fair.[/b]
I don't think it matters if he a test player or not.Hartley wasn't a test player so got a big ban.
Dayglo was a test player so never got a big ban.
Flannary stamped on someone's head and got f-all. Then attempted to break someone's leg and got f-all.
Flannary is a test player so never got a big ban.[/b]
Its the IRFU appealing, not Flannery. I hope they throw the book at him for the sake of rugby in general.
Oh Mite is of course correct again. Flannery, being Irish is of course a complete thug no doubt about it. Sure all those Irish f***s are thugs.
Engerland rules![/b]

Yes, all are thugs. Gouge somebody on the street and you get jailed, not a short ban from your job. The same goes for stamping on somebody's head or arm.Is Danny Grewcock the Stade Duo (Dupuy and Attoub) Schalk Burger Thugs????[/b]

What I saying isn't that he didn't do it etc jus that there is a difference between rush of blood to head and been a malicious player. Flannery does get bouts of rush of blood to head and is guilty but he isn't a malicious player. If it was "only going for the ball" as the defence is claiming, why did he swing his leg in an angle that is ACROSS the pitch, not down-field?
Plus why did he continue the kicking motion when there was plenty of time to see the ball had been collected and adjust his body position for a fair tackle?
Flannery knew exactly what he was doing.[/b]
