Hey there, my names Carl and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I'm 16, soon 17 and play rugby for Stockholm Exiles rugby club. The ***le is a little decieving, I was actually born in England and only moved to sweden three years ago. I play flanker and I am on the Swedish u18 national team. Yep thats it!

mate you ought to change that template welcome line of yours! you make it sound like he's only going to be here for a couple of days, when theres a chance that he'll achieve "International" status on the board and on the field

Well we dont know how long he will be around, I would hope he did achieve it but you never know...

Well in theory he could turn into another Magnus Lund and emigrate back to England.

welcome aboard - Heja Sverige! Hope you can help Sweden make the gradual climb up the European ladder.

BTW - Magnus Lund is Norwegian fellas

Magnus Lund is part of my inspiration actually, shows that it is possible! I will be popping into TRF regularly, but I prefer to view threads rather than participate. I'm actually heading to England with my team in a weeks time, will be in Southend playing a few matches and training with some top-class coaches.

Thanks for the warm welcome btw.

...I hate kids who loiter around town.
I have an urge - and i'm sur eevery other adult agrees with me on this - to find something hard and kick it at all the loiterers...be the adult or child.

Ballymena?
You say Ballymena...i hear Balamory.

Well as long you dont just love us and leave us like so many do...

give us a shout once in a while though - and let us know how things are going for you at international and club level

Will do! Last year we traveled there as well, got beat by one team (our backline was a shambles...) but our forwards clobbered the other. This year we have a much stronger team, hoping for some clean wins to show em Swedish rugby isn't to be trifled with!

Hi all!

To introduce myself:

21, born and raised Dutch. Played rugby for 4 seasons, mostly as lock. One time got Dutch champion in my old regional colts team. ATM not playing due to an injury.

Found at last a good rugby forum, theres not much on the net!

Welcome!

Eat cake, enjoy the selection of wine and mingle with our girlfriends...but talk ill of our clubs or countries and we shall slit your throat.

Hark! I shall cry from up on high and displace your soul with the abdomen of the devil himself; i shall set you down up the muddy floor, legless and soulless and watch you struggle to live with any dignity or respect as i kick dirty in your face!

So to summarise the previous post:

Welcome.
Tread carefully.
