Best French backline of players I've seen play (okay except Sella...)

10 Castaignede aka Le Petit Prince
11 Heymans (or St-André)
12 Jauzion
13 Sella
14 Domi/ Bernat-Salles
15 Sadourny

Provided a fair amount of front foot ball this guys would cause major damage to any side...

In this case you should put Serge Blanco as FB.

No Christophe Lamaison Charles? He always racked up massive amounts of points against us, especially in 1999, absolutely dominated.

Yeah but he was mainly a center, and there is better than him in that position (although he was good). he is also the top pooint scorer in the French shirt :2 tries, 6 dg, 78 pens, 59 conversions.

replace mortlock with giteau and 14 with habana and that would be mine.

Hm, Shane Williams at 11, Giteau/McAlister/De Villiers at 12 and Habana/Rokocoko at 14 and that would be my team. Ngwenya and Steyn? You must be joking...
