The Osprey - What is happening

Now I'm not one to over react at speculation, but what the fudgin hell is going on down at the O's. Read to today in the Western Mail (not the most reliable source i know) that that Twinkle Toes (Mr Shane Williams) may be on his way out. Ospreys yet to give him a concrete contract renewal as of yet. For me thats a silly silly move. Yes he's getting on, but he's one of the only remaining "Big name" left at the O's. For the ospreys to leave him go would be a catastrophe. He's one of them players that puts bums on seats, especially seeing as he's against the trend (very small and elusive but you don't need me to explain that). I hope that the speculation is not true (like most of the stories regarding Shane over the past years - how many times has the western mail said he's on his way to the Scarlets????). I know for a fact that he's a proper "Home boy" (and no i don't mean gangsta! lol). For him to leave the area, and move to France (likelihood if there is no renewal), it would be a huge huge decision. Ah well, time will tell, Looks like the O's are gonna have to start from scratch next season. :( :( :(

(All of the above was not an over reaction :p)

I know, f!!k!n sucks arse to be an O supporter atm (saying that it always does seeing the lack of achievements-In europe at least). Players flying out left right and centre. Hopefully Cuddy pulls his finger out and flashes the cash :S :S

Shane says he wants to stay, but the Ospreys aren't putting down a deal for him. If we lost Hook and Shane it would be an utter disaster, espechially as Tommy'll be back off to Ulster after next season. Byrne is quite a big blow, too, but not as much as those three.

is that just speculation or is bowe actually thinking of coming home?

aww
but no matter where he plays he is still an ulsterman should have heard the cheer from my old clubs coaches when he was picked for the lions

God, the Fail really doesn't care about Welsh rugby. All they want is for all the clubs to be in turmoil so they can fill their pages with crap articles denouncing all teams and how they are ruining rugby.
I don't like what is happening at the Ospreys (or any other club), and have been vocal about it, but I don't try to make my living writing article after article on this, claiming to be a journalist.

Yer its just the western mail being the welsh rugby's equivalent to the Sun :p I can't imagine Shane moving away, but then again grab the dosh while you can i guess. Lets just hope its the WM's way of selling papers, and have no actual truth behind it (then again thats every papers goal...)

Interesting angle they are taking now because Howell's and his merry men have always been pro-Ospreys!
