The Official Player of the Tournament.

Agreed, but since his team was in self-destruct mode from the second half of the Ireland game and onwards, he would never look too great. I'd put him fourth, with Blair 5th and Mike Phillips 6th.

<div class='quotemain'> <div class='quotemain'> <div class='quotemain'> Well done to Williams, bloody good player, best winger in the world imo. Scores some breathtaking tries. [/b]

Don't let Ripper hear you say that!
He'll get all his school friends on you and evict you to the Northern Hemisphere!

Nah, i'll just do what I do every year. Mock him, wait until we play Wales, than laugh as our 2nd string winger's score a hat-tricks on him and toss him around like a rag doll (with his shaven head it is also easier to bounce Rugby ball's off him - very considerate of him).

Than, i'll wait until the 6 Nations when he carve's up Italy, which somehow suddenly makes him the best in the world (kind of like how the form Northern team of the November tour is the always the one which doesn't play us - sometimes called the 2006 Irish Team effect) and let the cycle repeat itself.

Play a different record, Ripper.

Same could be said about the Shane Williams hype train.

Cant argue with his ability to finish, but hes a turnover waiting to happen when isolated. Thems the facts, but he's still a damn fine finisher.
