3-1 to the Yanks, Rahm and McIlroy the big disappointments leaving their partners fend for themselves this morning, and even then Rose was only beat by a Finau fluke.

Europe have a tendency to dominate foursomes at home and these pairings give them a chance.

Match 1: Stenson/Rose vs Johnson/Fowler

Match 2: McIlroy/Poulter vs Watson/Simpson

Match 3: Garcia/Noren vs Mickelson/DeChambeau

Match 4: Molinari/Fleetwood vs Thomas/Spieth

None of these are predictable at all.

Johnson/Koepka vs Stenson/Rose Watson/Simpson vs Garcia/Noren Woods/DeChambeau vs Molinari/Fleetwood Spieth/Thomas vs McIlroy/Poulter

Moliwood should go 4 for 4 there, I'd fancy Europe in game 2, game 1 and 4 should be crackers.

The Yanks desperately need to close out Poults and Rahm and get at least 2 points this afternoon, probably 3+ though.

Could get close but I think the guys at the back will clean up for us.

I make it EU 17 US 11. Dunno if I'm being optimistic about Rose though as Simpson has not been too bad...
