The best full back

i rekon latham, but i havnt seen hardly anything from hernandez so i cant really say, can anyone tell me where to get some footage.

Latham for sure Mils is greddy and he never kicks the ball when he runs it he gets tackled and this coming from a kiwi

I prefer the fullback not to kick the ball every time when he doesn't have to.

But that's what makes Latham better than Mils. Latham knows when its best to kick and he can place the ball better.

wade mckinnon

but if your just talking rugby in general it surely cant be anyone from the north?...unless its a southern hemisphere player that they bought..

but when hes fit and healthy i would go with latham..and he will be fit and healthy in the world cup...hopefully for australia and unortunetly for everyone else he plays against

For some unknown reason I was only considering Union players as the best fullbacks for this thread!

I agree with Chiro! At the moment Wade McKinnon from the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL is by far and away the best full back! He is in absolute blistering form. The move from the Eels was a godsend to him, he really is head and shoulders above the rest.

But come RWC time, Latham should pwn them all!

<div class='quotemain'> Paul Wellens.

Nuff said.

I don't believe in this case that "Nuff said" is sufficient evidence. Please provide proof kind sir.

Your previous post does all the talking i want it to:

You haven't seen Wade McKinnon playin lately have you? Only Paul Wellens.

I have been watching both play. McKinnon = better. I also give more points to McKinnon because he is playing in a harder competition (ooooo controversial) :bana:

Lol.

No, i concede i not even heard of that guy, but it's preceisely that argument that will never let the best full back be decided: You're adamant the NRL is a tougher competition.

Well forget about the argument about which competition is tougher. We'll assume that both competitions are of equal standard.

Wade McKinnon is still > Paul Wellens....imho of course...

actually if that player has never played in the nrl then he shouldnt be of any competition towards mckinnon or any other league fullback in the nrl...

its simple..just like the generic game play of the super league..where is the nrl is of a cybertron like advanced level of gaming....

nrl is league of the future..super duper league is a multi million dollar rest home and paul wellen is a toilet seat for nrl players

case closed!

team chiro

i agree most players head up north towards the end of their careers to make a hella lot of money for half arsed effort :p :p
Their seasons are extremely long imo (got that impression by playing stacy jones hehe)

Wade is the best fullback at the mo aye, the way the warriors play really suits the style he plays, (for any fullback imo) Matty Bowen isn't too bad either!

without doubt it is Latham, early in his career he wasnt an impact, but now he is in full stride cos he uses all of his power and he bits his body on the line all the time. Hes a freak and the only reason wales drew with australia last year, amazing what he did.

im going to go for some obvious domestic bias and go with girv the swerve best defencive fb out there
