Test Match 1: All Blacks v British & Irish Lions (Auckland)

That pass was not meant for AWJ, completely in the wrong position. I'd get Maro on sooner.

That wasn't a knock on! Yeesh
Oi, no ref talk

Whoever called us doing RL tackling on SBW called it, we're doing proper day one RL one high one low on him. Makes sense to have Farrell and Teo, both from RL backgrounds, in that regard!
Not trying to take the credit but I did mention that the Lions would look to contain SBW due to his performance for the Blues. Lions doing well to contain him so far.

He looked knackered during that extended period of pressure, but otherwise he's been fine. Can't blame him for that knock on. You want your dummy runners to look like they will get the ball, up to Farrell to pull it back a little further behind him.

If Ben Smith doesn't return in the series then Hansen may live to rue having not properly bloodied arguably the second best fullback in the world over the last two years, Damian McKenzie. I won't be unhappy if this blows up in his face!

They're really targeting Murray, they're lucky it's a SH ref because they're very hot on taking out the 9 up here

Disagree, Farrell was clearly passing into the middle keeping the pace up. AWJ looks so slow at the moment, he was like a lazy runner, completely off the pace coming in too late. He was out of position, rushing to catch up and butchered the moment.
