Super Rugby not gone to 23 man match day squads then?

Rebels should take this Force really going to struggle this season I think.

I think the Rebels might hurt them
Super 15 squads to remain at 22, F-knows why

Quite simple. Everyone knows that SupeRugby doubles as the Aussie domestic league and that the Aussies will do anything to avoid an actual scrum. But why bother with collapsing or illegal binding when you can have uncontested scrums.

I'm fairly sure SANZAR ruled out 23 match squads, citing additional money for transport and accomidation as the reason.

Western Force
1. Pek Cowan (c),2. Nathan Charles,3. Tetera Faulkner,4. Sam Wykes,5. Toby Lynn,6. Angus Cottrell,7. Chris Alcock*,8. Ben McCalman,9. Alby Mathewson*,10. Sam Christie**,11. Alfie Mafi,12. Kyle Godwin,13. Winston Stanley ,14. Patrick Dellit,15. Will Tupou
Reserves: 16. Heath Tessmann*,17. Kieran Longbottom,18. Phoenix Battye,19. Richard Brown,20. Mick Snowden**,21. Sias Ebersohn*,22. Junior Rasolea**

* Western Force debut
** Super Rugby debut

Hmmm.... not an overly strong looking side. McMeniman and Cummins are both unavailable due to injury which doesn't help. Surprised that Ebersohn is not starting. Christie is really just an average ITM Cup player - he certainly doesn't look like a Super Rugby player to me (I'm happy to be proven wrong though!).

You would have to think that the Rebels should start this match as firm favourites, as they look to have a lot more fire-power in the backline.

Yeah, wasn't expecting this. But I'm giving Foley the benefit of the doubt. Good luck to them. If anything the Force bench is the most impressive part of the line up. #22 was looking good in the trials IIRC, decent bet for a late try.

It is almost Super 15 2013 time - hellova glad this wait is nearly over!

Go on the Rebels! Been my second team for a while now, they've got to come through eventually....

Looking forward to this - "luckily" have a bloody horrible cough at the moment which has messed my sleeping patterns up so will be up in time for this despite me being off work for the week :lol:

Go on Force, I continue to have them as my SH team even though the reason I support them was because my first Superugby match that I watched was them playing some class rugby against the Reds. Unfortunately it hash't been repeated in the last two years.

James O'Connor not have a good deal to do with it?
