So the 2 new faces in the Springbok training squad will be going head to head...

I am all for the Bulls to bring the Cheetahs back to reality

I think the Bulls will be too strong at home... I'm picking them to be top SA side come the end of the season, so that'll have to start now.

Oh this fixture is normally over after 30 minutes every year at Loftus. The Bulls turn into a juggernaut infront of those 40 000 boozed up Pretorians sucking on their Klippies. Bulls by 20

Hard to compare the Cheetahs of old to the side this year. I've just been much more astute on defense to be steam-rolled heavily. That said, I'm sure the Bulls will take it, much like the Hurricanes last year, the Cheetahs aren't a team with a culture of winning just yet, they won't beat the Bulls at Loftus and they will come unstuck by the end of the season.

The Reds, Crusaders, Stormers, Chiefs, Highlanders all came there with credentials or something and got pounded one time or another. They way they can lift the Bulls in that staduim is something. Wonderful place and one of the things on ones bucket list to experience

True Bulls can lift their game to high levels there
but I was present at the last 4 games at Loftus - Bulls vs Stormers and the Stormers won 3 of the last 4
It is what happens on the day between the four lines

As a Stormers supporter I read that with a smile on my face. Sometimes the actual rivalry get the Stormers and WP players more juiced up than the Bulls. Especially if there is revenge on the minds. I remember 2000 if I am not mistaken Bobby Skinstadt running out there like a man possessed. Bulls did not not what hit them. Then there was the Currie Cup final where Joost and a Steve Meyer tune seemed put the Bulls in bezerk mode beating a highly fancied WP. Like I said its something one must go on experience and one of the things one should have on your bucket list

My nerves can't handle this fawking game, 9 - 6 HT for Cheetahs.

Comon boys comon... Prove these ******** wrong.

Interesting game this, rugby! The commentator just said the one player had a hooker on top of him!

Well that is what my wife said

Werner Kruger doing his job. Bringing in the penalties for the Bulls.

Woohoo we won!!

Tough game, big hits, and again some shoddy calls by the crappy ref to both sides. If Burton Francis had his kicking boots on like last week, they would've won.

Bad luck Cheetahs, but I know you will bounce back. Always bad to watch your first choice team against your second choice team. Mixed emotions, but with my heart with the Bulls i'm glad we won.

It was a pretty good game Hein, pretty intense there for a minute.

I think you'd agree with me though, that both the bulls and the boks need a new first choice fly-half... Morne was terrible.

I'd like to see something like:

9. ???
10. Pat Lambie
11. ??
12. R.Ebersohn
13. JJ Engelbrecht/de Jongh
14. JP/Aplon
15. Le Roux/Pietersen

my views:

9 - Hougaard - Heyneke digs his tattoos - only logical reason, then Jano has inside track , then Pienaar (old favorite). Reinach and the other young players will have to wait another while
10 - Lambie - only decent one available and as it stands now The Greek as a backup
11 - Habana if okay after his injury and could bring Rule or the Kings Sergeal in the mix
12- Jean, still capable, vision and leadership with Serfontein as backup, Ebersohn also in the mix
13 - De John, only 13 that seems to be able to score - Paul Jordaan all thought would have stood up but it doesn't seem so - JJ is a wing and Ledeke is messing with his Bok aspirations- he is not even in the training group anymore, Mapoe should be playing 13. We do miss Jaque a lot - screw you Japan
14- JP Pietersen and Bjorn Basson
15 -My opinion is Willie le Roux with a capable backup kicker - prop Frans Steyn
