Super 15: Lions - Sharks in Johannesburg (02/06/2012)

Wow, I did not see this coming. It certainly make the table look very interesting, with the four teams fighting for sixth spot (Hurricanes, Sharks, Highlanders, Reds) all within 1 point of each other!

Yep, stoked with this. Although the Reds still have an extra game to play. Also the Hurricanes have both the Crusaders and Chiefs in the last two matches. I really, really, really hope they win, but it's a lot to ask for.

Having a game in hand doesn't really mean much anymore though, given you get 4 points for the bye. In fact I'd say that the Canes, Highlanders, and Sharks have an advantage over the Reds as they are guaranteed 4 points on their bye weeks, whereas the Reds have to earn all of their points (though they do have one match against the Rebels!).

Wow, Eze, looks like your calculator is worth the time you put in. I was an unbeliever and I now see the error of my ways. My apologies.
I thought the Sharks had the easiest run-in and were sure to make that no.6 or even 5 spot theirs after they beat us last week. Guess the last couple of rounds will be very interesting with no.1 spot up for grabs between Chiefs, Stormers and Crusaders and 3 teams currently outside still very much within reach of a play-off spot.

Congrats Plumbree have a nice day and send me some vBookie cash as I spent all on your bunch of players that think they are god-like and can't be motivated by their coach against the worst team in the Super 15

Sadly mate, I agree. We have an undeniably talented squad that cannot play anywhere near their level.
We need to have a big rethink when it comes to new contracts.

According to the vbookie everything's a winner!

Yay! Big money!
Now time for some more ill-advised bets. The only smart bet I can remember making on here was Fiji v Samoa. The odds were ridiculously good for Samoa, as Fiji beat them in the last encounter.

Me and my mates ate humble pie big time on Saturday

Even coming from a Sharks supporters' point of view, we didn't deserve that match. Well done Lions.

Now I don't like to blame a single player but Michalak seems to be unable to string 2 decent games together. I like Freddie because he is so different from what we get in SA, so to me he is a great impact sub for that reason. Overall I reckon supporters are getting impatient with Plumtree for not backing Lambie at flyhalf. Yes our backline has been disrupted due to the injury to Whitehead and Jordaan being selected for the Baby Boks, but surely then it would make sense to revert back to our "stable" picks? Lambie at 10 and Ludik at 15. Plumtree rightfully has egg on his face, and I'm glad he got it from the worst team in Super Rugby history.

That said, the Lions were brilliant weren't they? They held on the ball well and caught the Sharks completely off guard.

Everyone thought this was an easy victory. There was one person who has real vision and knew the Sharks are a team that struggles at Ellis Park. Why? Because he knows rugby. Can't remember who it was though

Ag please man, chill, we all know you subscribe to China TV therefore you see the matches on a Thursday night already
So what the Boks gona do against England?

Boks will win the game while scoring a bunch of tries. Despite the controversial gameplan the Sharks will control offense and we will beat England 36 - 10. Alberts, Bismarck and Coetzee scoring the tries with 3 penalties by Morne, 1 dropgoal and penalty by Frans
