Stand-up Comedians...

I went and saw that Bill Bailey show live. So, so funny. His audience interaction is also fantastic.

Just booked tickets for 21st November in the CIA to see Bill Bailey on his tinselworm tour (i think).
Can't wait....but will have to.
Will actually have to wait 6 MONTHS!

Genius!

One of my favourite Bill Bailey videos off the Tube:

The synching is a bit out which is annoying, but you can still grasp his genius.

I watched Keith Barrett live from Cardiff 2006 on Paramount last night. Oh, how I chortled!

This is a great one liner also;

Super 14 rugby is full of missed tackles and although it's played at a faster paced than NH rugby there are far more mistakes. Apart from maybe the Crusaders, Leicester would beat any of the other S14 teams. Munster are their best (this time last year) would also beat any of the S14 teams [/b]

The guy said that about a fortnight ago. I don't think you're gonna let him live it down for quite a while, will you?

Good musical routine from USA, like Bill Bailey.

Whiter Shade of Pale ripped of Bach, It's Now or Never is just O Sole Mio with English lyrics. And Stock Aitken Waterman used to nick all their melodies from classical music. But see how many pop/rock/punk/folk tunes are based on Pachelbel from 300 years ago.

Wigan_RLFC said that Henry Paul was the Greatest Union Player of all time, and I still never let that down - it happened 3 years ago.

Ditto with Woosaahs "Leon MacDonalds a better Fly Half than Nick Evans" quote.

Lot of respect, good man!

Without a doubt, Eddie Murphy was hillarious. Many a drunk uni night have i spent sitting with a bunch of the boys watching him do stand up. Brilliant.

Personally I prefer someone like Jasper Carrott - some of his 'stories' are hilarous - esp 'how to kill a mole', 'the nutter on the bus' etc..

Dave Chappelle Russell Peters, Lewis Black and Demetri Martin - all brilliant comedians. :D Although the first two have jokes mainly based on race.

i used to like strausman, does he count?

i went to one of his shows and it was brillient :)

My favorite comedian still has to be Eddie Izzard - Although he has lost it in recent years....... Has anybody watched his new American series "The Riches" - Bloody amazing - you can watch it online on TV-LINKS.co.uk.

Izzards the bomb.

I have a friend who's doing standup now...here's a video of him:
