Its very disappointing, i remember reading a write-up about him in his debut S14 season saying something along the lines of "the Bulls will have plenty of firepower in the counter-attack with young fullback Zane Kirchner noted for his elusive running and deft sidestepping."

I guess he has proven quite elusive in the sense that you never see him running with the ball.

I honestly think that's the reason aye. He looks like one of those guys that matured early, hit 6 foot and 90kg at 14 years old and just dominated everyone effortlessly, he was probably an amazing runner of the ball when he was a foot taller than everyone else. Then the other players begin to catch up, before he knows it hes playing Currie cup and he isn't the biggest bloke on the field anymore. Knowing how ruthless that comp is he probably copped a beaut of a hit early on and then has been **** scared to try his running game since. Hes a flat track bully who didn't adjust well to not being the biggest kid around anymore.
