If Argentina have a good Northern tour and Scotland dont: Argentina also play a weak England during Lions tour. If Scotland lose to Australia a top #6 is looking unlikely.
Scotlands ranking after 2019 (#9) was used to draw them the horrendous group in 2023....and here we are.
Just to recap: in top 6 gpr draw means avoid SA/IRE/NZ/FRA/ENG in the pool and avoid them in the 1/8 final. Good tournament means Potential good ranking on far side for USA 2031.
Outside top #6 means a big 5 team.in the pool and likely facing a big 5 team in 1/8 final. A likely poor ranking with a mountain to climb for USA.
