Saracens have been given the green light to renovate the Barnet Copthall Stadium in North London in a move which means they would play their home matches on an artificial pitch.

Correct.

The Barnet Copthall Stadium has a running track round it. Even with re-developing Barnet Copthall Stadium the track will stay for athletic meets.

Excellent news. Sarries have been trying to move out of Vicarage for a while now, good to see us back to proper London, back to our own stadium and into somewhere which we ought to be able to fill every week.

Lets not go nuts, 10000 is still a huge ask.

I suppose at least Barnet is on the same bus route to St Albians. Still Hertfordshire though, not London!;-)

The stands are moveable. For rugby matches they'll be moved closer, for running be moved back to expose the track. That's why in the image you can only see part of the running track poking out the back of the stand behind the goal posts.
100% true, look it up if you want.

If only Sarries had some fans and wern't so...annoying i guess. i used to dislike the tigers in this way but i am actually quite fond of them now.

No idea why though?
