Calling scrum with less than 8mins left is ballsy and desperate. I guess they have calculated they are unlikely to get in kicking range without a penalty. I think its probably the right call.

Disagree; England subs have changed the game. Sinks been a big step down in the scrum and Vunipola been a huge step down everywhere. We've let them back into the game rather than them earning their way back into the game.
