Good game by the refs and officials for the most part.

Crowd was great.

Draw was probably a fair result. Georgia better team in the 1st. Portugal in the 2nd. Stats look fairly similar for the most part.

The female commentator in particular is full on fingers on a chalkboard. Nothing about what she's saying feels genuine.

The Georgians did so little with all their early pressure, although credit to the Portuguese defence. The Georgian pack (at breakdown and scrum) and centres did not really perform and their flyhalf offered little on his return from a fairly long term injury (which shouldn't be surprising). They look very far from the intensity they showed in beating Wales and Italy.

That said, the Portuguese are clearly extremely well coached and have excellent fitness. If Australia are eliminated and demoralised by the time they face Portugal it could be one to look out for.

Would like to see these two play in a European Championship, with teams in the challenge Cup (again) on a regular basis

I was very excited by this game, Gerogian grit vs Portugeuse flair...

Georgia made so.many 22 entries first half, had they taken a few more points it would have been game over by half time.

Portugal hung on in there, and that expansive game proved difficult 2nd half.

Georgia will be devastated they didnt finish off some of those entries, and Portugal must be kicking themselves they were a kick from glory.

I do think Portugal were given a very lucky ride at the breakdown by the ref 2nd half, but they certainly deserved those points.

Fiji will be happy, neither really can qualify now, a good solid Georgia performance here would have propelled them into Fiji next week.
