[RWC2023] France vs Italy (06/10/2023)

Might be missing the point but as it set up a final of SA and Ireland is a real possibility how does that equate to a final with a foregone conclusion?
I was talking generally, not this specific tournament.

Edit: For example, in this circumstance, it only takes one of the teams from the weaker side of the draw to have one worldy game(or one set of officials to have a stinker) and they're in a final.

When Penaud came in I would argue he was overshadowed by Teddy Thomas on the other wing. The latest in a long line of speedster wingers that just loses the magic due to injury. I think Penaud now is better than peak Teddy and that is pretty much the biggest compliment I could give.
TT just always been a finish runner, nothing to compare with the creation, the vision and the permanent danger of a Penaud, who had never limited himself to wait a ball along his line.
in defense also, Penaud now starting to learn to make more than air defense.
