Best players from Pool B, in my view, are listed below. The criteria is simple - nobody can be put out of position and it is only based on performances in the pool matches. Play-off´s games are not to be considered. Nor is game time in a different position. Only wingers can be switched from left to right or vice-versa. Gordodze is in at 8 even though he played at both 7 and 8.

The idea being the see who which Pool was potentially the strongest as we have two from Pool A in the Final.

15 Lucas González Amorosino (Argentina)
14 Max Evans (Scotland)
13 Marcelo Bosch (Argentina)
12 Mike Tindall (England)
11 Chris Ashton (England)
10 Jonny Wilkinson (England)
9 Scott Lawson (Scotland)
8 Mamuka Gorgodze (Georgia)
7 Juan Leguizamón (Argentina)
6 Tom Croft (England)
5 Patricio Albacete (Argentina)
4 Richie Grey (Scotland)
3 Juan Figallo (Argentina)
2 Ross Ford (Scotland)
1 Rodrigo Roncero (Argentina)

Mike Tindall? Jonny Wilkinson?

Ahahahahahaa

Ross Ford over Marius Tincu is a bold bold call

Ahhh, yes.

Scott Lawson had a brilliant tourney.

Despite it being as generally our third choice hooker and not playing much (if at all). ;)

Tindall had a shocking World Cup and was named on some website as the anti-player of the World Cup!

1. Matt Stevens :p........seriously though
1. Rodrigo Roncero (Argentina)
2. Marius Tincu (Romania)
3. Juan Figallo (Argentina)
4. Tom Palmer (England)
5. Patricio Albacete (Argentina)
6. Mamuka Gorgodze (Georiga)
7. Juan Manuel leguizamon (Argentina)
8. James Haskell (England)

9. Nicolas Vergallo (Argentina)
10. Toby Flood (England)
11. Simon Danielli (Scotland)
12. Felipe Contepomi (Argentina)
13. Manu Tuilagi (England)
14. Chris Ashton (England)
15. Ben Foden (England)

I don´t disagree. 12 was a hard choice. Nobody to really pick. Contepomi was better but was so bad kicking goals! Tindall did one thing well - defence. He tackled really well. .

Olly

Same thing

Ledesma was outstanding vs New Zealand and England but ordinary in between. Creevy always came on and stood out. So, I left him out because of this. Ford did well in the crunch matches while Tincu was impressive, it was never in a do-or-die match and he id not the player he was four years ago.

For 10 its like 12... Honestly the best would have been Jackson and Parks but they were unable to get their teams scoring tries so neither can be considered. The best flyhalves performance in the group would probably be Bosch vs England off the bench.

How has this man only sprung to my attention now...his style of play comes right out of one of my wet dreams..

You used to be a huge fan of him, so much so that we all pooled together to pay for a flight for you to go and meet him - however he tackled you, you got amnesia, and the rest is history....

The craziest thing is I just watched the Adjustment Bureau and finished 15 minutes ago!

If you´ve seen it you´ll understand... If not youshould!

Seriously, classic reading this comment straight after seeing that movie.
