RWC: Ireland - United States (11-09-2011, 18:00)

Stick in Deccie Fitz instead of Mushy and I'd expect that front row to rape the Yanks. And Mushy isn't *that* bad (sometimes...)

I hate these matches. There's no winning for Ireland. If we don't beat them by 20 points + that's a bad sign. If we do it's to be expected. I promise you no positives will come from this match.

thats why I've always hated playing Italy in the six nations until recently. Its not satisfying unless you win by 25, and if you are the england team of 2005 - 2010, thats really not going to happen.

So this game is 7.00 UK time? arguably perfect in that if folks have work they should be able to squeeze most of this in before they have to go.

And RTE for anyone who wants to see the sight of George Hook first thing in the morning...ugh!

LOL you're right, the spud headedness will be doubled, if he's that cranky at a normal hour imagine him at 7 in the morning. Doesn't matter to me though because I have to go to stupid University in stupid Canterbury in Stupid England.

Not a bad line up for ITV though, so that sweetens the deal of being in the greatest country in the World during WC time:

Commentators: Nick Mullins, Simon Ward, Martin Gillingham, Bob Symonds
Co-Commentators: Alan Quinlan, Scott Hastings, Phil Vickery, Andy Gomarsall
Pundits: Sean Fitzpatrick, Michael Lynagh, Francois Pienaar, Lawrence Dallaglio, Gareth Thomas, Thom Evans.

An excellent line-up for ITV

Don't go?

You're a genius why didn't I think of that, seriously though the course I'm doing means I have to be in a Hospital most mornings and they're really strict about attendance, I'll catch the games on RTE Player.

Looks good, Olly how do you watch RTE Player in England?

No idea - not even sure if you can
However they'll all be on http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/ if you don't mind the English commentators

Dang, I'll have to get me one of them there hide your proxy whatsits. I have one for bbc Iplayer but I doubt there's a free one for Ireland. I have no problem with the English commentators as long as it's not England v Ireland.

That depends who they are. Gonna be watching it through ITV because of some weird install :p. Not Stuart Barnes I hope?

Duh!! Thanks ;). Shame no Brian Moore, I like him. For the rest pretty cool.

Presume Brian Moore and Jonathan Davies are locked to BBC with their Six Nations contracts - shame, as I quite like the two of them

Anyway, this thread has gone a fair bit off topic :p

Bowe/Earls/Trimble/whoever is going to have his work cut out for him with Ngwenya opposite them
