Rugby World Cup 2011 Official Game

It's really dissapointing that there are only 20 teams! I wish later we can add the other leagues by internet, beacuse after a while it will be really boring playing only with national teams! please upload videos with playgame!
 
I'm not disappointed that the game only has 20 teams... It is the Official RWC 2011 game so 20 teams is as many as i would've expected... It is however disappointing that all these teams are not licensed and that the Stadiums to be used during the RWC 2011 aren't licensed either... I guess that i would've expected the "Official" game to be fully licensed.

Now this isn't just cause I'm a kiwi and the AB's aren't included. I'm disappointed because if i were from England and was playing this game made it to the finals and had to play against the All Blacks (New Zealand) it would feel very average not to be playing against the actual All Blacks. I would want to be able to take Dan and Richie to school! Instead i'll have to play against some random dudes in black jerseys, which to be honest would be a bit of an anti-climax. I'm sure the gameplay of this game will be pretty nice and hopefully this game will lead to Rugby 2013 which could have loads of teams and tournaments licenses for me to sink my teeth into.

Yo you should buy rugby challenge,licensed abs and wallabies plus all the super 15 and european clubs with the 20 internationals and licensed stadiums plus graphics and gameplay look far better
 
Man those players look beef!!! Cant wait to see Gav in HD :p They better get his Tan right, all i'm saying ;)

Oh yeah, i plan on it... But it would've been nice if there weren't "exclusive" licenses. That way both games could feature these teams and then we would have two fully licensed games.

Either way, i'll be getting both games but it would've been nice to get one fully licensed game as opposed to two semi-licensed games.
 
Pre-ordered. Really hope that is a wise decision, Since I've been on the fence ;)

Just heard that Italy will be licensed in the Game too..

So thats all the 6N teams... Will they have the 6N now?
 
Hi Olyy do you know what the commentary for the game will sound like for unlicensed teams? Will they call the players by their position or by names?
 
No idea at all,
I would imagine it's by their fake names, then if you change them it's by their number
So you'd have:
"That's a great kick by James Smith"
Change James Smith to Dan Carter and you get
"That's a great kick by the New Zealand flyhalf" or "by the number 10"

Sounds about right, but I'd be keen to hear how this works out from AJ or Glen too. Shame that at this point it seems there's no ability to choose a player name, but I guess it'll be good to get the final word either way.
 
Can't wait To finally play this game in august! Does anyone know yet if there are More than just the 20 teams that are in the world cup, like in fifa 2010 world cup game?
 
It is because PC games are to easy to hack and create copies of, so they decided to stick with just PS3 and Xbox
