Hey now, are you forgetting photos of the actual game running, without context, at a distance, on an angle, in overblown retail store lighting?
HB Studios (and ourselves) are both subject to the mercy of our respective publishers and licensors with respect to being able to release info and media. At the same time, both companies have limited resources with respect to marketing and promoting the game which means that the release of media and information will be skewed towards the actual release date when it is most effective (despite what armchair marketing managers might think).
HB Studios will release screenshots, info, and trailers at the earliest opportunity they can, and I'm sure it will look great and no doubt deliver pleasant surprises in terms of features and content.
Everybody including myself wants to see what they are bringing to the table, but regardless of when everyone gets the first look at the game it isn't going to change the date that we actually get to play it. Once you take that into account, the actual date that screens or trailers might be shown is immaterial for anything except satisfying people's curiosity.
