Rugby Championship: Argentina - New Zealand (29/09/2012)

New Zealand commentators need to research the Argentines properly.

Agustín Creevy just came on not Juan Pablo Orlandi, who isn't even on the bench at all.

They also called it that Bosch scored the Argentina try.

Apparently no pen and paper in Argentina to write it down.

I don't need to. Pretty much every referee in the world will call a penalty if hardly any ground has been made after a few phases. I have never seen a 10+ phase penalty advantage.

Penalty advantage goes on until you gain ground. As long as you stay behind the point of the infringement, the advantage is still on.

Try by Jane now.

Really just seems like the ref is determined to keep the score from blowing out.

I don't think that is a lack of research. More a case of mistaken identity.

Which could be solved by researching what the players look like. :)

It's not that hard, none here are paid and can do it. So why can't they when they have all week and tournament to practice?

Most of the televised game here has been without audio, or in Spanish. Finally hearing it in English. Shame it's a lopsided match - really wanted to see Argentina shine in this one.

This is refreshing, cool, satisfying, smooth and not leaving a bad taste in my mouth this is a delicious exhibition of master crafting.....Busch beer.

And the AB's are fairly good as well.

More a case of lack of knowledge. They even struggle to name SA or OZ players.

I'm not saying they are knowledgeable or are not as I watch from a NZ perspective so don't really care whether they call this play that. All I'm saying is that his examples don't show a lack of knowledge. I mean, hey, they are our commentators so they care about us. Other countries should feel free to sent their own if ours are not up to scratch.

Take Roncero off. He's just getting in the way of the backline now.

I agree this is ridiculous now, he's going to get injured and the game is long past lost, Ayerza should be in there now.

Edit: Looks like he won't get pulled LOL forgot Ayerza was on.

Well, I feel you are wrong here mate. When you are a commentator you should know both teams, whether being from 1 of the countries or being neutral.

SA commentators are also awful. The number of times I heard them say "Keegan Daniels", "Digby Aione" or "Hadironoquy"... Awful.

The Canadian commentators for Georgia vs. Canada couldn't even get our own names right they were THAT bad, ask PD. For Georgia they mostly didn't even try.

If you are useless as a commentator, just move to Wales. You only need to know Jones and Williams...
