Rugby Challenge 3 confirmed

Scottish cannon did you see any player form or player progress in the game?

We seem to have lost that since rugby 08 . No need for a squad or subs without it.
 
Well, of course there is player progress in Be A Pro and that was really good but I can't remember about player form bro I am sorry

Just because there's player progress in be a pro it doesn't mean it's in the main season mode (I hope it is though).

You got it all wrong, licensing doesn't work like that. What you have is the opinion and wishful thinking of one WR staff, not news.

You can't prevent any team or union from profiting from their own image. FIFA (the game) has a lot of unlicensed teams, and FIFA (the federation) has zero control of each team or federation image rights, not even players.

In FIFA teams licensing is controlled in most cases by the leagues, almost exactly like in rugby, but with one difference. In rugby the players licensing is controlled by each team, while in FIFA only the world players union (FIFPro) can handle players image rights.

That way in FIFA you get unlicensed teams with real players, because they have a licensing agreement with FIFPro.

interesting, though I think it was more of a case of them not securing all the licenses by the time it was released, because the last time I updated FIFA 16, some of those Italian Serie B teams' crests changed, and most of the Generic names were also updated.

Sorry to go a bit off topic, it was just something that caught my eye and had to ask.

It's anyway still better than the Cannon's click-bait attempts.
 
its a bit of an awkward situation now as if it is released in march im assuming they'll have the 2016/17 super rugby roster, but what will happen to the licensed Aviva Prem teams. Do you all reckon they'll stick with the current season roster? if so that means we (in the NH) will only have a couple of months where the rosters are correct. i cant see them going with the new 2016/17 roster though because some people would undoubtedly complain it doesnt have the current teams. the only other option would be to release an update for the game in September when the new season starts but surely this costs a significant amount of money and time (on consoles at least) to release which Tru Blu and Wicked Witch probably do not want to give.

in fairness, they got most, if not all, of the starting xv wrong for clubs in RC1 and RC2 with completely ridiculous player ratings. i don't think anyone will throw a fit if Itoje is/isn't in the starting xv for sarries
 
Starting XVs are submitted and approved by each club, we don't get a say. If I see a sub which should be a starter I send an email to the producer, who sends an email to the representative, who internally has a lot of other emails to send, and two weeks later I probably get back a "leave it like that" reply.

ive played for so long with the updated roster from mods i forgot how bad it was initially. i suppose the fan hub will come in handy as long as people can make the new rosters before the start of the season
 
Yeah tbh I'm not concerned about the rosters, the community will pick up the slack there with the Fan Hub.

Who knows what they are doing at this point. One would hope that with the extra time the game doesn't ship with any significant bugs. If the game was playable at Armageddon in New Zealand so many months ago, one would hope they have taken the extra time to make sure the game doesn't ship with RC2 level bugs.
