I am new here and need your help to get the best rugby boots. Well, I just started playing rugby and looking at buying a new pair of rugby boots. I already have a pair of football boots, but not sure if I can play rugby in them. I searched online for awhile and found some good deals on rugby boots at http://www.dealrocker.com, but can't decide which one to choose. Please recommend me some good budget friendly rugby boots.

Thanks in advance.

hey man
ive been playing for 4 years now, i made a big mistake when i when i moved from football to rugby and used my football boots.
football cleats are designed to run forward (or in one direction) which is why they usually have a stud in the very front of the boot. rugby will require you to run in all sorts of directions and make quick movements with your feet, so if you can remove the stud in the front, that would help you alot.

another thing you should know when selecting the boot, is highcut/low cut, etc. i played lock for my first year and a half, which meant my feet took a beating, getting stepped on in the scrum. i got hard toe boots (low cut) which gave me a wider range of motion in my feet. then i moved onto openside flank, which required me to run a lot more. if your feet are generally wider at the front like mine, i suggest you take that into consideration, because nothing is more frustrating than getting your feet squished in your foot.
just remember, keep those little things in mind when youre picking out your boot
hope this helps!
good luck!
