Rugby at Stamford Bridge

Don't know if there was already anything about this but it completely passed me by, only randomly came across it today but Ireland are to play the BaaBaas in a friendly at Stamford Bridge on May 25 as a warm up for the Summer tests against Australia and New Zealand

Won't be much of a warm up though if Munster get to the final of the HEC.

I am guessing we are talking about Chelsea FC's ground and not the Village in the East Riding of Yorkshire where the Battle of Stamford Bridge took place!!!

You never know Charlie, if the Baa-Baas get a good load of forwards together they might have to relocate to that very place!

So it's been announced today that Ireland won't play the BaaBaas at Stamford bridge but that the match will instead take place at Kingsholm on May 27

That's happen a good job because if Chelsea have any pitch problems in the future it would all be the fault of the rugby played on there

The poor pitch at Old Trafford is entirely due to the ONE rugby game played on there each year and the reason the JJB pitch is so bad is PURELY because of the rugby. Won't be long before any problems with the Wembley pitch is down to the ONE game of rugby played on it each year.

well the pitch at Stamford Bridge has been dodgy with only football being played on it, would help if they designed stadiums these days that can actually get some natural light in so we don't get crap pitches like we see at the Millennium Stadium, new Wembley etc.
