But yeah ritchy leading the haka? they beta sort out that out before the release because the haka is not something that they can just treat like another addon, its part of the Maori cultur.

is it just me..or do the stadiums look pretty much the same as r04
the spectators look better..they are not all syncronized

Yeah i was thinking that too, the stadiums look exactly the same(apart from new shadows)... they didn't even update telstra, and they still have those stupid flags hanging from each stadium, eg nz flag on nz grounds and dunno about this but they had like hurricanes all over westpac stadium for whatever teams played there... etc and whats with the concrete on the edge of telstra... wtf theres no concrete there! infact i'm certain they've done jack all to the stadiums... there exactly the same - although i will reserve my judgement just for now

can anyone confirm if these are snippets of gameplay.
As far as i am concerned, INXS is playing in the background.
ie - We're getting the juicy intro, coz gameplay graphics in rugby games are soo bad, that they tease u with intro footage, fooling us into believing its the gameplays simply coz, IT WAS DONE FOR R2K4, and we are all naive rugbyheads, that rate a rugby game to the non rugby fans even if its ****, coz we love the sport that much, and want the video games to development, so we tell every gamehead that the new rugby game is awesome (even if its ****)
PROS
its very exciting that i have seen many different heads and faces
the fact that it has expanded in this regard means i cannot deny they havent done it in other areas.
P.S - I garauntee this will be delayed - I reckon once they realise they wont make the 6 Nations season kick-off, they'll try and delay it to go in sync with the lions tour of NZ...........I KNOW THEY ARE CANADIANS WITH NO CLUE ON RUGBY (go richie), BUT THEY MUST HAVE SOME MARKETING EXPERIENCE

Really what does it matter what the stadiums look like?
The video doesnt really impress me apart from the fact that some of the players look like their real life counterpart. Although i agree with AK47 about the fact that this is not gameplay or even replay footage, rather stuff for an intro which really tells you nothing about what the game will look like.
hopefully it turns out to be a good game this time round.

Im not being negative im just saying the video dosnt impress me one bit. i want this game to be good so bad. the graphics are good the motion is a bit better. ..no heaps better ...04 is a **** pile. i wanna see how the players run, step kick etc. as for that step i have no opinion till i see its effectiveness in gameplay. that goes for everything.
oh another thing anyone reckon theyll have player photos(profiles ala madden etc). just adds to the authenticity and thats all i want. i hope the menues and things are like fifa aswell

Yeah I was thinking the same thing with the stadiums umo. Ballymore is still the same. Telstra is the same, but the new crowds and shadows do make them look a whole lot better. I don't know what the dealio is with all those flags and things, they don't have them there in real life. They have most of he official licenses, so why not use them? Instead of putting INXS accross the top of the Bank of Queensland stand, why not put Bank of Queensland?

Wally - I don't know if companies in games do actually pay to have their logo and things in game, I would presume they do so EA wouldn't want to give BofQLD free advertising. Would this be correct Mario?

Ah ok. Something else I noticed. Why is there a city in the distance of Telstra Stadium? It's at Homebush! I know I'm being picky here but it's meant to be the home of Australian rugby. I want it to be done well.

It depends on their licensing arrangement with the stadium/advertisers. I really couldn't speculate why they have or haven't included something.
