Ross do you reckon you could do me a favour and upload Kabezon's Ruan Pienaar face to filefront please? can't get rapidshare to work...

Roster is a bit too unrealistic with the ratings....England with a rating of 74? They're being beaten by Italy in 6 nations, forget that, they're losing like 50-6 to Wales.

Well that could be possible in real life too you know :p .The thing with the ratings is that the editor doesn't always save the stats to what they have been changed to , just like the stats of the players, in the editor a player might have an overall rating of 88 but ingame that rating might be 82 or something.

But I'll try to change it again, maybe it will work this time...

Ross I made some changes with the editor to a roster of yours I downloaded. How do I make the changes apply to World League? I heard it's something to do with an rdf file? I can't work out how to do it and it's really annoying. I click set default after saving a change in the editor but I get an error message? Any ideas :p ?

Well I didn't get any error messages when i did the "set as default" thing...what error message did you get?

'The process cannot access the file 'C\Program Files\Woosaah Ruggby 08 Editor\73cb47d1d69c90f28fd1cc4186ac1926.rdf' because it is being used by another process.'

But the only thing I have opened is the editor? Obviously with the roster opened in the editor..

Hmmmm okay everything should work then fine, check these 2 things for me:

1. Open up this directory: C\Program Files\Woosaah Ruggby 08 Editor\ and see if the 73cb47d1d69c90f28fd1cc4186ac1926.rdf is located there.

2. In that same directory (C\Program Files\Woosaah Ruggby 08 Editor\) there should be a "setup.dat" file, open it with wordpad or notepad and tell me what is written there.

1.73cb47d1d69c90f28fd1cc4186ac1926.rdf is there, it's also in my the EA sports directory- is it supposed to be there too?

2.In setup.dat nothing is written- it's completely blank?

1.Okay yes it should be there too - so that shouldn't be the problem.

2.Open up setup.dat file and put this into it: C:\Program Files\EA Sports\EA SPORTS™ Rugby 08\Rugby08.exe , save and exit and try again.

I've done what you said. Now when I edit I save, and it's fine, but when I click set default, the error message reads 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

If I go back to editing then attempt to save and set default, I get the error message from before about the rdf file being used by another process.

When I start a new World League, the changes I made are still not being applied :(

Does someone know if the mods work on a frensh version of the game

Are you using the latest Woosaah's Rugasmic 08 Editor?

What mod are you reffering to?

Okay try this, uninstall the editor and also delete the .rdf file in the rugby 08 main folder.

Install the editor again, when you run the editor the first time it should ask you to choose your rugby 08 directory(C:\Program Files\EA Sports\EA SPORTS™ Rugby 08\), set that location, open up the roster and edit something, save and then click on "set as default".

Tell me what happens

do I need Woosaah's Rugasmic 08 Editor to download mods ?[/b]

No you don't, Woosaah's Rugasmic 08 Editor only lets you edit the player's stats(the roster), basiclly all other mod(faces, kits, graphics ect...) you can just download from the "EA Sports Rugby 08 Mods" section and place all the files in your Rugby 08 main folder.

and as far as I know all the mods should work on the frensh version of the game, can also change the language of the editor to French
