Files are now up to enable you to play with the Lions ingame, see 1st post.

Cheers

Hmm, Will Genia needs improving yeh?
His passing is fast and pinpoint, playmaking skills are great, although, i don't see why he has a tackling ability.
i mean, he can make try saving tackles but they're not like big hits or nothing

Chris Paterson should have like 97 in goal kicking, same as Brock James of Clermont. the statistics say so.

I'll make sure to update these things man007 & Red Army

I aslo started to make face portraits for the super 14 teams, here I did the Stormers:

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/f5TwSl3ss9c&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="480"></embed>

I'm busy now making the other super 14 team's face portraits to release with my next roster update, might do some European teams aswell if I have the time...

Cheers
Ross

Might want to make O'Leary's stats all 0, as he's recently broken his foot :p
No Lions tour for him!

This is totally a joke.

I didn't want to double post, but couldn't find an edit button :eek:

Anyhow, while I'm here. Mike Brown (Harlequins), needs a massive boot on him. And a way to make him left footed? If not, then that's cool, but ya know, he's a leftie :p

Also, isn't Habana in the SA side? <curiosity>.

Yes I can make Mike Brown a leftie and will give him a massive boot ;)

Habana is in the SA side but nit in the starting 22, the SA side in my last release is just a "random selection", just played around abit but it will have the correct squad and starting line-up once the squad is given for the Lions Tour.

I get an error if I start with the Lions tour. Downloaded both files you posted, but when I play the first warm-up game the game loads just a lil bit and I get an error and the game exits. Any help on that. Also how do I edit the Lions line-up. Thanx in advance

Maybe you don't have the kits yet???

Download the new kits that Fa'atau made and see if it still crashes...

http://files.filefront.com/BILionsNEWzip/;...;/fileinfo.html

Well if you have the editor, go to the location where you installed the editor and open the teams.csv with notepad or something, go down to no.101 and change the "no" to "yes" so it looks like this:

101,yes,allstars,The Lions

save, exit, open the editor and the Lions should be under the "allstars" tab.

or you should be able to edited the squad ingame after downloading the 2 files

That Lions tour, is there supposed to be new options in the Game Modes menu or something?
I DLed all the files, put them in, and there was nothing! The teams were there, but..
Prolly cus I wasn't running a MUP :p no biggie.

<ontopic>Huzzah for the roster!</ontopic>

You don't need the MUP for the Lions tour to work

Just download all these files and put extract them to the rugby 08 main folder:

http://files.filefront.com/ActivateLionsTo...;/fileinfo.html

http://files.filefront.com/BILionsNEWzip/;...;/fileinfo.html

http://files.filefront.com/Lions+fileszip/...;/fileinfo.html

Try it and let me know what happens[/b]
It totally worked! I love you, and everybody who did this. It's incredible. Fantastic work on the choice of 3 lions tours, and everything.

<3

When I downloaded those files I can access the lions tour from the menu and all that but when I try to start a game playing as them the game crashes :(

I recieved this message after changing parts of the reds team. Not the players but the team itself. WHat is the problem?

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

No, but i fixed the other problem (no help from Woldog <_<), anyway...
cheers for the info WOLDOG

Just meant that your game hadn't shut down properly or something, so the roster was still in use, thus being unable to be modified.
