Rebels WIN!

Good to hear he is making an impression off the field. Has been brillaint on it so far.

But honestly, did those commentators have a man-crush on Cipriani or what?
Yeah, he played quite well, but jeez they were fondling themselves over him whenever he got the ball! He'd kick the ball away in a great position about 30m from the try line and just give up the ball easily and the commentators were talking about how well he's mizing up the game, keeping the opponents on their toes...rather than talk about how he gave away possession softly wihtout challenging the brumbies.
I was genuinely happy that they won because their work rate was outstanding and it's always nice seeing the underdogs do well, especially after last weeks loss.
It was never a penalty at the end of the game, but it was clearly a forward pass that put Brumbies in the lead with a few minutes to go.
As scrappy and messy as the game was, it was the most entertaining match of the weekend - barr listening to the commentators jerk off to Cipriani.

It always happen when you have a foreigner on the team, it was the same when Michalak went to the sharks...Especially when they are mercurial players...

We're used to having plenty of foreigners in the North but if I'm not mistaken before the rebels there's only been 3 northerners in Super 14, Califano for the Blues and Michalak and that fat english bloke for the Sharks...

Well, a few more than that. Off the top of my head:

Julian White (Crusaders, 1997), Todd Clever (Lions, 2010), Jaun Martin Hernandez (Sharks, 2010/sort of).
