There's a bit of a difference in Leinster's approach to the semi final this year as opposed to last season. Last season, Joe Schmidt put a full strength team on the field and shipped something like four injuries in the game! He's being a lot more cautious this season (and has been all season in the league) in putting out a team he believes are good enough to come away with the victory but is taking a chance because Glasgow are quite a good team.

Leinster by 6.

incase you irish have forgot, leinster havn't actually beat glasgow in the league this year. we beat you in dublin (or where ever you play) and drew with you at firhill. quietly confident.

COME ON GLASGOW

Sickened to say but Leinster have best chance of doing (a deserving) double.
They have a better squad this year as opposed to last year and well even without BOD and Kearney it is still a team that can compete with best in Europe

Today's team shows nine changes.

Leinster's team and replacements for the draw in February:

LEINSTER:
15: Isa Nacewa
14: David Kearney
13: Brendan Macken
12: Colm O'Shea (Eoin O'Malley, half-time)
11: Fionn Carr (Andrew Conway, 63)
10: Ian Madigan
9: Isaac Boss
1: Heinke van der Merwe
2: Richardt Strauss
3: Nathan White (Jamie Hagan, 58)
4: Damian Browne
5: Mark Flanagan (Devin Toner, half-time)
6: Dominic Ryan (Jordi Murphy, 66)
7: Shane Jennings CAPTAIN
8: Leo Auva'a
REPLACEMENTS NOT USED: Aaron Dundon, Jack McGrath, John Cooney

Today's team shows ten changes. The results from earlier in the season aren't relevent for Leinster but I do agree that Glasgow can gleam some encouragement from thoe previous results.

Ha! Yep I'm devastated at Leinster dropping those points. I suppose the 9 Heineken Cup points Leinster took off Glasgow and the fact that the team I support are going for back to back Heineken Cup wins and a double this season just about console me.

As I've said, Glasgow are a good team. The previous results in both the Pro 12 and Heineken Cup have no bearing on this game. In a one off game it's down to who performs better on the day. I think Leinster will because they're at home and have better players. Leinster by 6.

To be fair add in Madigan was ok then but now he looks as good as Sexton on some aspects of his game. And some players have really upped a level

Leinster fans are going to be sweating about a few of these injuries. D'Arcy, O'Malley and now Healy all off with inurues that could or could not be serious.

As for the game itself, it's not been the best. Plenty of mistakes from both sides. Scramble defence of both teams have been good though. It's currently 9-3 to Leinster with 53min on the clock.

We were in the front row. Richie Grey essentially matches the exact description of giants in the ASOIAF books. Also, I did my best to chat up Leo Cullen. He wasn't having it.
