I did think he was decent in defence. Didn't shy away from tackles and at least went for the high balls, which is more than can be said for others.

yes he was awful,

taking age out of account, from that match against the Ospreys, you wouldn't say he had a good game, he dropped more than one high ball and sliced a kick after coming under pressure from Shane after dithering, if a 26 year old played like that you would say it was awful

but taking age into account, he has plenty of time to improve and one can't be too harsh on him as he has just played his first match and is only 17

I thought he had a good game. Considering there's about a month between us in age, I wouldn't fancy chucking myself at a speeding Hanno Dirksen the way he did. Yes, his high ball skills could do with some work, but I thought his tackling was rock-solid and he kicked quite well, slice aside, from what I recall. I'd like to see more of him in the future, once he's worked on his catching a bit.

Hoping Will Harries' try was an 80-metre individual effort, I'd love to see him back in form.

All I can say about Amos is I was impressed by his showing in many aspects. This could easily end up "no he didn't", "yes he did" so I have said my bit.

I say we keep track of mistakes, and any player who makes a certain number in a match loses his contract. Survival of the fittest.
