Unsurprisingly, Leinster have opted for 15 changes from last weekend's team given it's essentially a meaningless game for them. Hopefully Luke McGrath sees some time off the bench. I've no real expectations from this game but hope a few of the younger players put up their hands for future selection. It wouldn't surprise me if Noel Reid was converted to inside centre from now on.

Delighted for Jack to be starting. Is this being televised?

Is this Noel Reid's first start for the senior team?

Game isn't being televised as far as I know.

Thanks for clarifying don't think Reid's started but might be wrong.

Leinster lead 6-16 at half time. Ian Madigan with three penalties and a conversion to add to Jack McGrath's try.

Danny Lydiate scored only the second try of his entire professional career last night. I say that's more noteworthy than the result.

This is a poor result from the Dragons perspective. It's pretty shocking that they can't beat a completely second-string Leinster side at home.

Transversely I can't stress how impressed I've been by our young lads this season. There was a time not too long ago when we couldn't buy a win. The likes of Mads, Kearney Jnr & Macken have been immense this year.#

Who's this Hallam Amos child out of interest?

I agree. Something has to be done. Wilson is going, not sure how much of a loss he is, after he said he was working on our pack last season.

Amos is a nipper who made his Newport RFC dayboo early in the season and subsequently the Dragons. Listed as a centre but has played Fullback for us. Academy boy and Wales U18, but born in England. I like him so far.

he holds the record for youngest ever player in the Rabo Pro12, a record which was previously held by Ospreys winger Kristian Phillips

was pretty poor against the Ospreys a couple of weeks ago (dropped a couple of high balls, and sliced a kick), but then he's just 17 so one can't be too harsh

the youngest ever player to play in the Premiership is a winger called Dave Doherty by the way, what ever happened to him?

He's too young to make our 7's team!

He also held the record for youngest Welsh regional player for a short period, before Jack Dixon came off the bench near the end of the same match (Wasps, LV Cup).
I didn't think he was awful, certainly not for a 17 year old.

yes he was awful,

taking age out of account, from that match against the Ospreys, you wouldn't say he had a good game, he dropped more than one high ball and sliced a kick after coming under pressure from Shane after dithering, if a 26 year old played like that you would say it was awful

but taking age into account, he has plenty of time to improve and one can't be too harsh on him as he has just played his first match and is only 17
