Prop Ryan Bevington signs new two-year Ospreys deal

Wales prop Ryan Bevington has committed himself to the Ospreys until the end of the 2013-14 season.

Hasn't Paul James got another year on his contract?

Regardless, next season I expect to see Bev becoming first choice. He's a top quality player and offers a lot more than James in my opinion. Yes, James is a great scrummager, but I'm not sure just how much that makes up for the amount of penalties he gives away. Bev has an incredible work rate around the park as well.

Give Bevington another season and he will improve his scrummaging. We have an ideal replacement for Gethin here, need to keep him in Wales.
