Premiership 24/25 - Round 10

Quirke out FFS,

Say it's precautionary rather than an injury so hopefully just managing his plastic pitch playtime - considering his luck though....

Ironically there was an interview with him this morning about his injury history, and they were saying despite his terrible run of luck with them it is bad luck rather than a Manu type situation where it's the same thing over and over
Like he did his hamstring years ago, but the ones since then have been "actions", i.e. broke his joke, had a ruck collapse on his arm and broke his wrist etc. it's not recurrences

Edit: Sanderson just said a tight quad they don't want to risk
Hopefully that's the extent of it

Such a weird league. Bath and (until last week) Bristol are the only sides that have shown any real consistency.

Really weird review here

Luke James intercepts but head clashes with Harris, who is the expected receiver

Genuine no idea who they're saying is in the wrong - thank they're saying Harris high shotted LJ, despite him just standing there expected to receive the ball

Where they're reviewing foul play by Gloucester 13 who has been intercepted.

He was expecting to catch the ball and has been done for a high tackle. Ludicrous.
Rugby is the weirdest sport going

If Harris had taken the ball would James have been done for a high tackle? What if no one caught it?

Makepeace is an inexperienced ref, but this wasn't an honest mistake in real time. Neither player was making a tackle as they were each expecting to receive the ball. It's the definition of a rugby incident and shows a worrying lack of understanding of the game by someone refereeing at the highest domestic level.
