PdV must be the most stupid coach in Rugby history. All photo's from training throughout the week showed players training with hoodies coz of the bad weather conditions.

PdV has a brain fart and decides okay, let's drop Pierre Spies now that he has found form and made man of the mach. Let's play Kankowski in the wet conditions. Oh, let's leave Spies totally out of the team as well, lol!

Now during the game he has another brain fart. Let's take Morne Steyn off in the heavy rain and bring on Pat Lambie and run it, lol! Lambie has a kicking for poles ratio of approx 60 but no, let him also kick for goal like he did against Ireland and miss right in front of the poles.

Why did F. Steyn not kick when Morne went off?

PdV does not cut it at this level, he is just fortunate that he has such talented players mostly inherited from Jake White. How can you take the World champions and regress so badly. If PdV was white he would be gone!

Is it me or did P Divvo make the same mistake Robbie Deans did last year? That is to try and force the game and run in what was then and what definitely was yesterday a Scottish bog?

I was a bit shocked when he took off the one dimensional points machine Steyn and put on rocket shoes lambie when the conditions frankly demanded south Africa win by penalties first and tries second.

Seems like a distinctly SH coaching defect to me rather than PDivvo himself.

I mean all the NH coaches know Murrayfield is usually a mudbath.

You are so right. NZ are in a class of their own right now! Sorry to say this but I just hope they keep doing what they have been doing for 23 years. Peak in between World Cups, go to the World Cup as favourites and choke so that SA and Scotland have a chance at lifting the Cup! If SA or Scotland do not make it to the finals , then I will support NZ as my third choice!

Well, sorry for pointing out something. Forgot this is that time of the month. Peter de Villiers will not get fired since he is the moral choice SARU made when appointing him as head coach. Nothing will change. John Plumtree, Frans Ludeke, Jake White or Alistair Coetzee would do much better. They have proven themselves in the past.

The problem lies with SARU.

Explain how South Africa managed to have two teams in the S14 2010, played under the new rules. Not only did SA have to teams in the final but both these teams, Bulls and the Stormers dominated the entire S14. During the Tri Nations the only difference was the coaching staff. I am sorry to say but they SUCK! The Springbok players have proved that they can dominate with the new rules but the current Springbok coach does not have a fu.. clue. They look like headless chickens without a game plan.

Normally when this excuse is used for NH teams/players, the typical SH answer is "well it's an easy competition in the North".
