If you're including past players then move Oosthuizen to 1 and put Mujati at 3, Hendre Fourie at 7

What about your squad XV without foreign players? Could your team compete? How much do you rely on the non EQPs?

1. Any thorghts as ive drawn a blank./QUOTE]

I've come up with quite a few props qualified for other countries, but all of them have been tightheads. The closest I can get is Billy Keast (Cornwall).

Re: the other picks, you can cut out quite a few duplicates by calling Ewers Zimbabwean, shoehorning Botha (Namibia) in and picking a Fijian and a Samoan. Also, theres Will Hooley (USA).

Obviously it's a matter of opinion, but if you're picking an Aussie second row, I'd have thought that Mumm would be the obvious choice. Also surprising given that you have no Argentinians, I'd have thought that Cordero would be an auto-pick ahead of the two Welshmen.

1 Appiah (Italy)
2 Taufete'e (USA)
3 Gordas (Romania)
4 Cavubati (Fiji)
5 O'Callaghan (Ireland)
6 Senatore (Argentina)
7 Mama (Zimbabwe)
8 Horstmann (England)
9 Hougaard (SA)
10 Weir (Scotland)
11 Heem (NZ)
12 Luscombe (Wales)
13 Rasmussen (Samoa)
14 Vuna (Tonga)
15 Latham (Aus)

Not going to lie, that took a lot of work

I know this is a Prem thread but interesting exercise.
1. Mario Sagario (Uruguay)
2. Rhys Marshall (NZ)
3. Freddie Pucciarello (Italy)
4. John Langford (Aus)
5. Chris Wyatt (Wal) and people say Munster are hard up now?
6. John Quill (USA) completely Irish, but hey who's counting. Was in our academy, was cut and went on to play in America. I could do this in a few positions.
7. Arno Botha (SA)
8. ?
9. Peter Stringer (Ireland) why not
10. Shane O'Leary (Canada) massively cheating here as I don't know if he was even in our academy but played underage, was from Tipp and now Canada international.
11. Lucas Amorosino (Arg) probably one of the most low effort signings we've had but hey I'm desperate.
12. Brian Lima (Sam) Never played for us lol
13. Lifemi Mafi (Tonga) cheating here and potentially sparking another eligibility thread.
14. ?
15. Mike Haley (Eng) we've never had an English international, so this feller will have to count.

I think that's about it. Now we've had a Scot in Gordon McIlwham, but no space in the front row and the tiebreaker goes to the injury joker with the funny moustache.
Have I missed anything?

I'll admit to using Google a lot, but pleased to say I didn't need to include anyone I'd never heard of, like the Romanian prop I found on Wikipedia whose name I've already forgotten.

Hurricanes:
1. Toby smith (aus)
5. Inoke afeaki (Tonga)
6. Brad shields (England)
7. Martin Leslie (Scotland)
9. Isaac boss (Ireland)
10. Stephen bachop (Samoa)
11. Lomé fa'atau (Fiji, cheating a bit here because while he was eligible for Fiji, nz, and Samoa, it was Samoa he chose.)
12. Hadleigh parkes (Wales)
13. Tana umaga (nz)
14. Kobus van wyk (sa)
15. Jayden Hayward (Italy)

Off the top of my head (which no doubt is not where memories are stored) , compared to the hurricanes

Blues have USA, Japan, not Ireland, South Africa, Australia, Italy, scotland

Chiefs have Canada, Japan, France, not South Africa, scotland, Wales, England, italy

Highlanders have Japan, not Wales, Ireland, South africa, italy

Crusaders have Japan, not Wales, Tonga?, Italy, South Africa, Australia, ireland

So, I can make a 15 out of the hurricanes, chiefs, blues

1. Toby smith (aus)
2. Sean fitzpatrick (nz)
3. Ben tameifuna (Tonga)
4. Tyler ardron (canada)
5. Api naevo (fiji)
6. Tony Lambourn (USA)
7. Martin Leslie (Scotland)
8. Michael leitch (Japan)
9. Isaac boss (Ireland)
10. Piers francis (england)
11. Lome faatau (samoa.)
12. Hadleigh parkes (Wales)
13. Tony marsh (france)
14. Kobus van wyk (sa)
15. Jayden Hayward (Italy)

It is notable that all of the above have played for their listed nation in an international match at some level, and that only 5 or maybe 6 of them, including Sean fitzpatrick, were born in the listed nation.

Edit: name mixup there, it was Silosi tagicakibau who was half Fijian, not Lome faatau, and tagicakibau didn't play for the hurricanes
