PC music players

i use wmp. its easy, simple and is asthetically pleasing. ive found almost everything works on it so meh.

i had it on my old computer, and it did something that it doesnt now and it ****** me off. so if anyone knows how to.... get a, almost toolbox for it. so instead of having it in a tab, you have it with {|<<| |II| |>>|}sort of thing if that makes sence, so you can skip song, or pause without opening it up.

also had itunes once, but just felt it to be a pain to use. [/b]

Just incase you were talking about Media Player. When you have it open, right click on your taskbar>toolbars then enable Windows Media Player.

Anyway, I use Media Player 11, just like the way the interface ties in with the rest of Vista, though it does bog down browsing through the library with all my music. I've tried quite a few others aswell, Winamp (hate the interface, nice library though), Foobar which is so customizable, but after a reinstall couldn't be bothered to set it up again, iTunes (nice and simple, but dislike the background proceses and hate Apple).

As others, I always have VLC installed for anytime I don't have the correct codec.

To be honest, as long as no-one uses real player, all is good. Bloated piece of s**t.

(if you have to have real player for something e.g. bbc. real alternative is what you want. Same thing for quick time)

Has to be VLC on any old computer, iTunes if you have tons of music

Mediamonkey is far and away the best player out there. And it syncs with ipods too. What more do you want?

I use Winamp

Always have and most likely always will.

I like the ability of having a playlist removing a song from it and the song not being interrupted like on Windows Media Player.
